Finished my grandma's christmas present a yellow garter stitch scarf. Moved on to a pink hat.

My dad let me get another parakeet which we named Alex. It's so noisy! It's yellow and green ( go ducks!) We don't know whether Alex is a boy or a girl yet you have to wait awhile to find out.

I can't believe I haven't posted since July! We drove all the way to Alaska then where home for about a week. Then after that week we drove cross country to Virgina. Fireflies rock! Right now I'm working on a very simple and easy garter stitch scarf as a Christmas present.

Garter Stitch Scarf

Materials:

Any size needles you wish

Any color yarn you wish (make sure you get 1 or 2 skiens)

Instructions:

1. Cast on 21 stitches
2. Knit in garter stitch until about 5 feet
3. Add fringe to each side

I'm almost to Alaska

Guess what? I'm in Prince Rupert public library right now.(Prince Rupert is in Canada but by Alaska) I'm going to Alaska. I'm almost there. We're going to take the ferry from here and it's about 6 hours by ferry. See you guys eventually.
